The Importance of Defending in a Safety Car

The transition from VSC to safety car happened while Norris was about two thirds of the way down there. So that's pretty close to the mid-entry. It was too late really to risk the change because if they're not being ready, then it could have all gone wrong,. But the other point is that the car could switch the hards on within half a lap.
