The Father Loves His Son, but He Loves Them Too
The father is overjoyed at the his younger son coming home because he's alive, and because he's got him back safe and sound. For the older son, what happenswee heard the story? He comes home. There's a celebration. Why for the younger son? It says he grew angry. And was it justtaus anger? This is what we call resentment. Resentment seeks to find blame in some one else. We have the same enemy, itis. Crazy though, too, because what do you see when he comes home? The father is over joyed. When he does actually let go of embarrassment, and he lets go, letting go of pride
