If you give people education, the opportunity costs of staying home and raising children starts top itself. I think we can have a steady state human population within a renewable materials economy carrying capacity. But where were keep but we keep ennovating on bits, so we keep making more and more positive and interesting things. So we keep getting an increase in quality of life, but not by increasing the the quantity of the pie and the quantity of people consuming it. In schmachtenburgers, oh, ye. This is so both. The malthusian situation is both the geometric production, reproduction of humans, and the arithmetic reproduction of resources. And i think neither of those are true
