Sam and his friends used to host open mic nights in Denver, Colorado. They would dress up for it all either Cut off quarter or a giant loud scarf like Volody always wore. Sam says he had an idea of what they should do next but then hicocks tried to get cocaine during the show. The group also did one sketch where Sam scalded trisha's cream with shaving cream.
