Are We Attracted to Larger Mammals More Important Than Other Animals?
We tend to focus our attention and we tend historically of focused conservation attention on relatively large mammals. One of the things I think about is whether this is really just about human perception or there's actually some scientific basis for valuing certain animals more than others. We are drawn to larger animals in terms of gaining our attention. But if we want to conserve planet Earth, then we ideally need to move away from focusing on endeavoring to conserve single individual species. And coming up after the break, he'll explain why.
