Violin Maintenance
Violins are like thoroughbreds. They take a lot of grooming, especially the very old instruments. My violin had actually been through the wars, you know, had pieces missingd and all sorts of things,. repairs and stuff. It's about five thousand dollrs a year minimum, and t just closed the case and put i in a safe place. Sometimes it's got to have mino surgery, hopefully it's not goig to be major surgery. So, ye, it takes constant care. Other than being talented, i can completely relate to much of what you're saying.
