The Power of Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness
In 2008, I was volunteering in a village up in the far north of India with this. The kids would sit there and they were like this for half an hour before school optional. And I remember thinking, gosh, there must be something in this. So I joined in and had a profound impact on me just sitting doing nothing for half an Hour. Since then I've come back to Australia and I've told, I am not an expert on mindfulness far from it, but I do think I'll become an expert on getting people to try it at least.
