How Much Lidocaine Should You Give for Adults?

For verse ed for adults you're almost always gonna give one or two milligrams there's not a whole lot of weight calculation I believe that for pediatrics it's often 0.1 milligrams per kilogram if you're giving it IV up to a certain maximum but I don't do pediatrics and so I don't want you to take my advice on that. Most people are going to give something like a hundred or 150 mics of fentanyl arguably to attenuate the response to intubation just like the lidocaine however to direct laryngoscopy.
