Schopenhauer's Pity Is a Production of Abstract Philosophical Intellect

Schopenhauer admits that pity makes life more worthy of denial. It's a useful feeling to cultivate because it increases our resignation with the world. And as nice writes here, pities the practice of nihilism. The whole point of his philosophy is to detach from the instincts. In some sense, he is the perfect example for bringing out the nature of pity and where it comes from.
