Tribes living in the lands between the baltic and black seas joined to live under the leadership of traders that had come from scandinavia. According to legends, these in tribes invited these scandinavian traders who were bringing furs up and down the nipro river into byzantium. So the state emerges, and it is called ruse. And part of what came bind its people was the orthodox faith, a strand of christianity which had originated from the eastern roman empire.
