Mary was admitted to the hospital with what appeared to be a vicious stomach bug. By late afternoon, mary started to feel better and doctors were reasonably confident that it really had just been a bad stomach bug. But because mary's symptoms had been so ber, doctors wanted to keep her overnight, just to make sure that she really was on the mend before letting her go back home.
