How Do You Teach Thinking?

Any subject for which there is a s is the subject that has already reached the point where it isn't that original or interesting any more. And, you know, how can you assess people and on, for exampleif if people are supposed to be inventing something original? I mean, i'm fond of saying, for the sotof inthe research area, any subject for whichthere is a s  is the subject that hasn't been thought about much in the first place. So its one of the things i'm sort of frustrated about, i suppose, is people's inability to take what they learnt in one place and applied in other places.
