Plumbing Is a Good Thing to Learn Yourself

We're doing things that are similar in a lot of ways to what people do on a normal house, but oftentimes with just enough small differences. Instead of embedding our pipes in the walls, we're actually running them along the walls behind like cabinets and cupboards or stuff. We wanted to do that because our walls are thin, there's not a lot of insulation. The electrical wiring is just in the walls like normal.
