The Serp and the Garden of Eden
In the process of writing a book I think we really learn a lot about ourselves. The idea that we can all sort of claim our divine in a way that resonates with our personal experience has been powerful for me. God as a black woman is proof that I can heal myself. And so I learned that about myself. More transformation happened in the writing of the book than in the journey that led up to it.
