If you have a good life, I think it makes sense for you to keep living the good life. And one way to do it is to make sure that these extreme events don't completely uproot you and your family. The things that really screw you over in some ways are the recurring cancer treatments, the brain damage and all of that. But no, otherwise, I think insurance companies by and large payout if it's a legitimate claim.
