China has a very poor record in disclosing the so called adverse effects of locally made vaccines. So this insurance effort is really just a way to try and build trust with the general public. Is there any evidence the insurance is working? Some people in i feel that it's better to have insurance than not at all, if they don't feel comfortable.

US consumer prices are set to have registered another large monthly advance, the European Central Bank has paved the way for a series of rate rises, and China is offering coronavirus vaccine insurance in an effort to win over sceptics and boost the vaccination rate.
