The Protestant Reformation in Europe

The British East India Company came genuinely to trade. But only in 1757. They got permission from the British Mughal emperor to trade and they established their factories which became colonies, little colonies. And you can't live and trade in India unless you teach the rulers that their job is to defend traders. Their job is to defending citizens, not loot them. Governments are created to defend these rights but when governments themselves begin to loot like Stalin did of collectivizing agriculture then you have a problem. So it was really the Protestant Reformation which begins in 1517, climaxes in 1648. There were 50 years of war, well 80 years. First 50 years what is now Holland
