Epilepsy
If the prognosis for most people with epilepsy is actually really good, if we can put people on the appropriate type of medication, 70 % will become seizure free. Now that medication isn't curing people, it's just controlling the seizures. Bot as long as they ake the medication, they can live the same lives as anybody else. There are a percentage of people who don't get better on the medication, and their lives can be extremely difficult. Epilepsy doesn't just cause seizures. If you have an unwonted electrical discharge coursing through your brain on a regular basis, that will have an impact beyond seizures. It will affect your memory,. It'll affect your personality.
