The Anti-Affirmative Action Politics of Teachers
Teacher shortages are becoming a big problem across the country, including here in Providence where I live. Teacher pay is not keeping up with inflation and even when you take inflation into account, it is on the decline. The rhetoric was about educators being primarily self interested and using their unions in order to insulate themselves from any kind of accountability. And that's really what we're seeing right now.
