The Inmate Code of Behavior

There is this thing called the convict code that existed since the 1930s. It suggests a number of praiseworthy behaviors never rat on a con don't be nosy,  don't put a guy on the spot and do your own time. Adherence to the code would determine a person's place within the social hierarchy of the prison as well as their criminal background. Child molesters and rapists were very low in the hierarchy so was murderers unless they murdered women especially pregnant women then they would also be low.
