The Great Pyramid Was Covered in a White Limestone Like Reflective

I was just reading something earlier that said it used to be covered with a like a like a sheer limestone. If they say what 4000 years, it's got to be much, much older. I've heard that's almost like a cultural thing where people look at the past differently. Some cultures put more value into a piece of history as it was. That's the exact piece of wood and everything while other cultures take more pride in keeping it the way it was by adding new things to it. So you see those all over the world, different cultures treat their historical artifacts, different like that.
