Are You Identifying as Designers or Writers?
The more senior people become in the field, the more they try to identify as designers instead of writers. I wonder if that's one of the reasons that I get so many messages from people looking to break into UX writing or content design. They usually hesitate because they think it will maybe require too many design skills that they don't have. It suddenly becomes much more complex than it maybe has to be specifically if you go into a more junior role.
