Is There a Need for Boosters?
In countries across africa, about one point two % of people have got in a single dose. In lower middle income countries, it's less than 15% of the population has been vaccinated. Those numbers are really drastically divergent. The public health argument is that by having covid continued to be able to surge in places without vaccines, it really does put the entire world at risk. It's very much taught us that you can't just put up a travel band and expect that variants aren't going to spread everywhere.
