Mima was an awesome, awesome character. Just following on from CC's Creator letter. So in terms of this kind of book, you want to plant a lot of curiosity seeds. You want to read straight out the gate to have a ton of questions that they keep turning pages to figure out later. And it was interesting to me that you said that your first drafts were more just telling. Did you find that in those earlier drafts, you gave away too much. And then later you had to take things out in terms of keeping the reader curious. Because this book was such a page turner, so compelling and really ambitious for a debut novel.
