The director of this film is Erwin Winkler, who at the time is 60 years old. This is his third film as a director. And that film is about the threat that computers pose and like the internet poses to the everyday person. So the net is being fundamentally made by somebody who, if they were encountering these things for the first time, would find them intimidating and scary,. I know that's sort of like an old joke, but it kind of does matter when you think about the point of view that the net has on specifically the internet and to a degree computers writ large.
