When you go to find a developmental editor and a book cover designer, try to find those designers as book cover designers and an editor who is intimately familiar with your genre. That's the mind chef, the mindset shift that I'm hoping people can can get to this. Because they don't really care that you've spent eight years of your life writing that first novel. And what they want to be entertained right? Right. It's not something that requires a time investment from them but it does require their undivided attention.
