The Languages of Ancient Italy

Egyptologist Ilona Rogulski is curator of a new exhibition on hieroglyphs. She says the Roman Empire was very multilingual, even into Julius Caesar's lifetime. There were languages like Oscar and Etruscan in what's now Tuscany. Ancient Greeks spoken in a lot of coastal cities as well.
