What's an Iron Crucible?
The Egyptian experience, hundreds of years being enslaved to the Egyptians is described in Jewish literature as being an iron crucible. What's implied over the heirs of the Jewish people, they were gold but there were still some imperfections. And similarly, we have the soul, the soul's gold. It comes from a place that it's close in close proximity to God and gets painted, it gets solid, it gets dirty, it develops alloys. It just needs to be cleansed a little bit.
