The Importance of Leadership Offsides
The first company I co-founded was called Flock. It's better a bit differently than the flock of birds, but it was derived from this thinking of influx of birds. So interesting because they choose the bird that is most apt to lead at that point in time. And what happens is also that often, let's say it's a weekend getaway with the entire management team and you know on Monday, the entire company is expecting an update on the new strategy. You just have to think you have to deliver something instead of getting up in front of the company saying like here are the open questions that we still haven't figured out, please help us.
