The Pathophysiology of Strokes
There are two forms of stroke. There's a schematic which is around 80 to 85% of strokes. And there is hemorrhagic, which therefore is around 15 to 20%. Now we're going to be constraining in this podcast on ischemic strokes. So rather than just thinking of a stroke as a stroke, let's try and break down the pathophysiology.
