For us to connect with life, in the broader sense of life, we need to be awake. We need to have our attention moving simultaneously with time. And also to have some connection with the body. Us ruminating and thinking about things, us a being caught up in more of the anxiety that's up here, it directly feeds into our physiological change. So somebody that is caught up in ilrumination, someone who is significantly anxious or significantly stressed due to life experience, and maybe aren't superintuned with their physiology. They're not practising breath work as we know that purely from kind of this heady nature, this rumiative nature, these individuals have lower heart rates
