The Real Force of Genealogy
The real force of genealogy, and the reason why nita's genealogies are so compelling, is that they are trying to tell us something about where we've come from. I think it's been sort of deeply uncomfortable for analytic philosophers to think that Nita might be for real. And fucot says thing similar, but even more sort of hardcore in a way. He says, in patiently grey and documentary has to be in the actual documents. Part of the power of the thing is supposed to be that here, you sort of hold ut to people how it actually was, you know, a th the morality that you have was born out of something called a slave revolt.
