Do You Know if You Can't Communicate With Your Patient?
In a new england journal medicine, and a science paper by adrian owen. They found that in a small subset of patient, probably five %, would be classified as non responsive for being in a vegetative state. But two of them could communicate. Could so i could if you ask him to. Imagine walking round the house. We know there tt they do have they seem to be conscious, but because they are so grv injured, they can't communicate. And so we know that some of these patients are misclassified. Most that seems really important. Doesn't it seem like i be big value to do msbutit could make a big difference in decision is made
