Jared Vanderbilt can't shoot, but he can do a lot of other stuff very well. The fact that nobody guards him is going to be an issue for the Lakers. It makes it harder for them to use Angela Russell and Malik Beasley as ball screeners for LeBron. If you ignore Jared Vanderbilt, he's going to crash the living hell out of the offensive glass. His offensive rebounding rate has spiked already with the Lakers.
