The Shadow's Shadow
The man was confused if this whole thing was an allegory, but he was also talking to his shadow, which had taken form. The writer became quiet and nestled deeper into the cushions of the couch. Over the next several hours, the shadow shared about the woman in the apartment. Poetry. That was her name. Actually, she embodied all poetry. Shadow corrected. All he meant was that he was grateful for the life he now lived,. He presented the writer with a card bearing an address. It was his new home, if ever the man wished to come visit. And with that shadow left, we'll see things take ange turn.
