"I titled my book, Leaving Humanity because I think science in a real sense has left humanity," Artisan says. "Their goal is to serve science and the pursuit of supposed comprehensive understanding...and controlling nature." He adds that they have no problem with trying to introduce the singularity - an age when an artificial intelligence will be superior to humans in every respect. 'Who the hell wants that?' he asks.
