The Role of Biometrics in Passenger Identification

I'm actually not aware of any, you know, pending litigation that involves that issue. There is a statutory requirement that we check passengers against the watches and there's actually statutory language that we use biometrics to prevent terrorists from getting on planes. We do have regs that have been promulgated that require passengers to provide name, date of birth and gender to fly. I'm going to guess that to verify that name and date of birth is going to lead you to producing some identity document in order to enter the sterile area.
