Hegel: Despite differences, we can find a commonality. In these differences, th very fact of possible existences that is ushered in by spirit. Now chomsky essentially is making the same point here, to say that despite these differences, they signal a universal commonality. But he doesn't actually say what these universals are. He doesn't lay them out at all. The same can't be said with moral judgments.
