Steve started his first business in 1994 in Adelaide from the spare bedroom of a house. He left that business in 2008, stayed on the board, went with Google and California for a year. In 2010 he realized he didn't want to be an entrepreneur again so decided to move back to Brisbane where it's not like Sydney. Steve now runs River City Labs which has just moved into its own new building.
