How to Make Your Mixes Better
The main thing that just went down with that record was me and Nick thought we finished it like maybe like four or five times. And while we were in this interim of thinking like it's done, I would discover this new technique of how to make the mixes sound better. One of the last things that we discovered was I used Ozone 5 on the TUMIX and I used their multi-band compressor on it. Instead of compressing the multi-band bandwidths, I would use an expander. It had a really good interface where all I did was expand it like plus 1.1 or something. So I didn't know what I was doing, man. But you mastered
