Pentagon Salt - What's the E?
Pentagon is equal weight, dried meat, a ruminate meat. Native Americans would Sun-dry it or smoke it and so this is extremely labor intensive. They would crush every single gram of protein by hand Then they'd take that, and they'd mix it into little balls with the fat. The problem is that it's not very palatable And if you're forming balls outside with your hands, this is not going to pass modern food regulations So I had to do some scaling up and some thinking outside the box of how to make this in a modern way But basically, it's just beef tallow salt, and we have one now that includes honey.
