The Foundations of Mormonism

Dr. John: I was trying to think about what elements of this case are really rooted in Christianity that can't really be blamed on Mormonism or even associated with Mormonism. A belief in God and Jesus in the Bible, that's obviously a really important pillar to this case. And if you believe in the Bible in the New Testament, then you believe in teachings around Jesus's second coming. The idea of demonic possessions is also just traditional Christian lore. Those are just some of the teachings that I have teased out of biblical Christianity that I think are foundational.
