The Looting in the Streets

CNN's John Sutter talks about the looting that took place in New York during the blackout. He says it was like a "Christmas time shopping spree atmosphere" People were setting fire to stores and taking anything pretty much indiscriminately. The cops were sort of ineffective, he says; one reporter saved goldfish from looters by filling his car hubcap with hydrant water.
