The Rule by the Soldiers Is a Democracy, Right?

The word democracy means rule by the honorable, right? It's often noted in translations of the Republic that there's not really a good modern example of what this would look like. But he looks to the example of the martial society like Sparta who maintains a class of people who are just soldiers and nothing more. And so Timarki is an imperfect society, even though it's set above the other forms because the soldier class doesn't have the proper command of reason.
