In 19 89, when you became the chairman of the budget committee, we had a deficit of three percentage t p by 19 98. Nine years later, with all your work, both in congress an the white house, we had our first surplus since 19 69. And we had a surplus for four consecutive years. I looked all the way back to 19 29, and there was never a four year period of surplus in the federal in the federal budget. So how did you do that?
