The most important part of validation fundamentally is securely validating the network and ensuring that blocks are produced correctly. To really differentiate yourself in cosmos you have to actively contribute whether it's via code commitments as you said or via governance. It just helps solve some of the bootstrapping problems that we i think we love to complain about in ethereum doesYeah i think it's really powerful that if you can build a reputation for contributing in cosmos there's very clear path to financial sustainability.
