The Cost of Alignment in an Organization

I think that the problem will be that inside of large organizations, there's always this like, there's a slide deck that you can find that's about slime mold and organizational headwinds. And so I almost feel like the concept around alignment inside of an organization, it is a very costly thing and you should do it as rarely as possible. You want to be able to allow them to learn as quickly as possible in this situation that they're in because they're going to be closest to the customer ideally. One moment that they then have to build a dependency with another team, the moment they have to align with another team,. That's when you start to get problems about slowing down.
