The Fear-Mongering of the Electric Grid
Wind currently accounts for 10% of all of the sources of power in the American economy, 10%. And here's the crazy part about wind. One, there's no infrastructure to carry the power to remote places. The heavy equipment that is necessary to put up these wind farms is exponentially more fossil fuel than it would have been 20 years ago. They can't even keep the lights on during the summer. Black out, outages everywhere. You can keep the lightson here. It'll be here in a heartbeat.
