How to Train Your Fat Metabolism

I like the idea that we want to adapt our fat metabolism. In fact, we want to use as much fat as possible during exercise. You can only train your fat metabolism really well if you reduce your carbohydrate intake. What I would do is remove it maybe some days, one or two days per week from my diet. On other days, I would actually have a high carbohydrate intake and treat the days a little bit like a race. And at the end of that, I've trained my fat metabolism but also trained my carbohydrate metabolism. So on race day, I'm prepared in all aspects.
