Is There Something You Can Learn From the Black Church?

In the black church, it is not unusual to experience at some point every emotion. But i think for us, that's freedom, because we so often are navigating a world in which we must be in control of our emotions at all times. So if you go to a service and you don't laugh and cry and dance and have a really rich conversation, and maybe have one conversation that also made you angry, you probably didn't go to church that day. That's why it black churches take three hoursthis wime. Seriously, we have some time.
